Your new license keys will enable you to fully utilize all of the features of your Product.
While keys in the new licenses may remove technical restrictions, such as to the number of production CPUs, Users, etc. that may be executed on simultaneously, it does not authorize you to deploy BEA software for production use on the number of CPUs, Users, etc. greater than what you licensed for such use.
How can I get a new License for WebLogic products?
Answer: Please see BEA LicenseCodes where licenses can be downloaded for Weblogic products that require a license key.
To use one of these license files, please follow these steps:
1. Download you application suitable license
2.Take a backup of the old license file
cp license.bea license.bea_bkp
3. Place the downloaded new license file [for example: license.bea_new] in the BEA_HOME directory
4. Run the UpdateLicense utility against the new license file as below.
./UpdateLicense.sh license.bea_new
If the server starts up successfully, the license has been applied correctly.

3. Place the downloaded new license file [for example: license.bea_new] in the BEA_HOME directory
4. Run the UpdateLicense utility against the new license file as below.
