The Embedded LDAP server is the default security provider database for the WebLogic Authentication, Authorization, Credential Mapping and Role Mapping providers. It contains user, group, group membership, security role, security policy, and credential map information.
Unknowingly the Embedded LDAP data gets corrupted which is not a very good sign in Applications like Weblogic Portal Applications & Applications using Embedded LDAP for there login and if you have created users, groups, roles, etc in your embedded LDAP, you'd have to recreate them manually, after the domain is brought up the with new Embedded LDAP.

Fortunately, If you have similar environment running along with your Domain which does not work as expected, Weblogic Application Server suite comes with a tool to export the whole content of your Weblogic Security Realm and import into your Domain.
Steps to Exporting & Importing Weblogic Embedded LDAP Server
Exporting the Weblogic Embedded LDAP Data
1. In the left pane, click on the security realms
2. In the right pane, click on myrealm
3. In the Settings for myrealm window navigate to Migration > Export tab.
4. Input the Export Directory on Server and this path should be located on the server where your Domain is hosted.
For example I have created a directory called EmbeddedLDAP in my %DOMAIN_HOME% as my Export directory.
5. Click Save to export the Embedded LDAP data.
6. After Exporting 5 Files should be created in the designated folder.
Importing the Weblogic Embedded LDAP Data
1. In the left pane, click on the security realms
2. In the right pane, click on myrealm
3. In the Settings for myrealm window navigate to Migration > Import tab.
4. Copy the previously been exported Embedded LDAP data to the server where the domain is hosted.
For example I have created a directory called EmbeddedLDAP in my %DOMAIN_HOME% and saved the exported Embedded LDAP data.
5. Input the Import Directory on Server and this path is same step 4.
6. Click Save to import the Embedded LDAP data.
7. Verify the Users and Groups tab for Imported Embedded LDAP data under Security Realms > myrealm.
You domain should be back with data you had it before.

Thanks for sharing these steps. I followed same step and imported users and groups from destination machine to source machine but not a single user is authentication properly, we are getting issue login to application for which all these users are added in EmbededLDAP. I compared with destination and all the users are added in my source weblogic console and checked all the configuration for all the users and groups which is same as destination. Not sure what is the issue and where need to check ...couls you please help here
